That is one I was looking for for her!! Yes, debfaye, this should work for you.

If you can wait until Labor Day I think I have these directions out at my new home. (All my sewing stuff got moved already!)

How do they make the circles "smooth on the edges" so there is no needle turn? Sounds like they may be using preprinted interfacing (the QuiltSmart stuff) but then I wonder how they flatten the intersections. I would just leave out one of the colored squares myself or sew over it and remove it from the back side to reduce the bulk.

Duh, I found it further on. She does lift the ring up at the intersections and snips out part before appliqueing them down.

Thank you very Much! I just ordered it. I wonder how big the circles are? I will make a few, then figure out how to inlarge if nessessary.

I think it said 15 inch circles if I remember correctly.
