I just finished this quilt for my granddaughter's 16th birthday. I modified the layout by adding sashings and the outer border is a piano key type border. Loved the look of it. BTW, my granddaughter absolutely loves her quilt and, of course, that made grandma very happy...ya never know what will be a hit with teenagers. :) It was a lot of fun to make and easy.

i made one of these last year but my blocks were smaller , i think i will try it using bigger blocks next time it looks a little easier !
