I bought the book & the ruler but haven't tackled it yet. Will be interested in your tutorial.

There are many tube quilting tutorials on the net, it is brilliant and so simple all the blocks come out perfect, very hard to explain you must watch the tutorial, one tip is to make sure your "tube' is pressed perfectly flat for good results.
I have made three Christmas table runners in no time using this method, I will be using this method for many more blocks as there is practically no waste of fabric. I am giving a demonstration to my craft group next week. Regards Aussie Carol |
Hi Cutebuns, I appreciate the time and effort you are putting into this tute. I haven't tried tube quilting yet but its now definitely on my "to do" list.

I absolutely loved making the strip quilts with the jelly rolls. This one is the next to try. If you do use more than two fabric strips with one coordinating fabric, do they still line up neatly?

This is one side of a quilt I made for my cousin's new baby that I used the tube quilting method.

Just had to write you and tell you how I enjoyed watching the video on You Tube. Missouri Quilt Company has so many on that site. I like the idea of tube quilting and I must try to make one soon.
I want to put the info in the next news letter for the guild. |
Can't wait to see pictures. Sounds fun.
