How timely. I was just playing with tube quilting ideas myself, using some scrappy strips from previous projects. It is really neat and the number of strips I used, as well as the orientation of the blocks kept changing the final block.

Will be watching your ideas tomorrow!

feel free to join in along the way anyone that is interested,or just sit back and watch, I enjoy taking pictures and talking through what I am doing. I can usually answer most questions. this is fairly easy. Though that is what I said about the OBW and I am not sure that I have convinced everyone about that yet.

Missouri Star quilting company has a good video tut online for tube quilting.

Here's one I made for my puppy out of the "severely ugly and loud" pieces in my stash.

My doggie's tube quilt. She loves it!

So here I am in my sewing room this morning, it is a bit chilly but I should warm up some as the day goes on. I am rummaging through my scrap bin. and I found some strips that are all the same size, a little small but for me they are perfect. I don't want a huge top when I am done, I am hoping for a decent size doll quilt. the beauty of this is that as long as everything is cut the same the blocks will come out the same size, so really doesn't matter what you start with.

for those that know me I have a hard time not getting things small even when I am working on a full size top, I did very well this summer, but I had an audience as well so maybe that was what was different.
