This is the quilt I made I also made a close up of the blocks. I used foundation piecing for a 3 1/2" strip or larger and cut to 3 1/2" then cut the white fabric the same size then moved the ruler backand forth for the blocks like Missouri Quilt Co. does. Hope this helps. I have another one in the works but not done yet.

WOW...thats a huge quilt & very pretty.Looks like you did a whole lot of work on that one.I'm not sure how you get so many colors in a tube quilt square.Hopefully the tute will explain.

This is beautiful

As I said I used a foundation to piece the different colors and then cut into 3 1/2 " strips

Thanks....I see what you mean. Your quilt looks so nice with the cornerstones highlighting the blocks.

There's a great tutorial on tube quilting from Missouri Quilt Co. at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vOWSp0mTTqE. Enjoy!

I just printed out the pattern for a strip quilt. It looks fun. I am just a beginner quilter, and this looks like something I could do.

I can't do it for awhile because I am making a wall hanging, with applique. I am not sure I picked out the right colors for this wall hanging so I'm not happy with it. I Feel like just quitting this, but wonder if when its all done I will like it more. ...patterns are tested and usually are better when they tell you colors, etc.which this one did, I just used the wrong colors. Each thing I do is a learning experience.

I don't like to have unfinished projects, so I must wait awhile.

I'm looking forward to seeing your experience with tube quilting. I've had the tute bookmarked for quite a while, but never got around to it. The problem is that I want to do everything I see. ;)

ME TOO. It's hard to wait until I finish the one I'm doing.

Okay, this is my next quilt. How quick and easy (at least it looks that way, wait till I try it. lol). Already have my colors picked out. Love, love, love this.
