SSSHHHHHHH!!!!!! No one is supposed to know that one of the crates in my quilting room is full of......yummies! Don't always want to walk downstairs just to get something to keep me going at 2 am!!!! |
Hydrogen peroxide will dissolve blood. It works to remove even blood that has dried on fabiric. I have used the saliva trick too, but not always are you in a position to use it.

I have one for hand applique. Use a dryer sheet to treat your needle. Just run a threaded needle through a fresh dryer sheet before you knot the thread. It keep it from clinging to itself and making so many tangled up knots. Really works!!!

My Mum had a dressmakersa T-square, love to get my hands on it!
I bought a carpenters T-square years ago. Works a treat! |
Thanks for sharing. I keep a small first aid kit in my sewing closet.

Here is another cleaning tip. The next time you are walking on a beach, pick up a seagull feather. Use it to clean between the thread tension disks. For interior states any large bird feather works.
