If you cut ugly fabric small enough and mix it with lots of other fabrics, it is no longer ugly!

marlene tarzwell 02-13-2011 07:07 PM

I think they would make great little pin cushions.

kacy 49 02-13-2011 07:18 PM

Kids quilt. They would love it.

Dotsie 02-13-2011 08:10 PM

Don't worry I also have a quilt I'm battling with, I don't like the colors nor the fabric given by a friend to make for her daughter. If I stop I won't be able to finish it.

What a fun fabric!! Maybe fussy cut for a child's quilt with some polka dot fabric and some bright yellows.

I think it is really cute. I would cut on the white lines, take a another fabric place it in the upside down spot and the cuties in the right side up, bind in bright colors, (red) It is cute.

This is coming from a Japanese cartoon character/manga called "Doraemon" He's one funny lil guy with a magic pouch that produces magic items to solve his 'master's' problems... I love this show....

Abt the fabby, I think kids quilt is the best...like someone suggested ...go with kaleidoscope patterns and get the illusion of Doraemon in the quilt...

Doraemon:
Doraemon is a cat-like robot from the 22nd century of the future. His favorite food is dorayaki, a sweet bean paste filled bun, and his birthday is 2112-9-3 he is also know by the name "Ding-dong". He weighs 129.3 kg, is 129.3 cm tall, can leap 129.3 cms in the air and can run 129.3 km per hour. He is afraid of mice and hates rats, his ears were eaten off by rats. He has a fourth-dimensional pocket on his abdomen from which he can take out many amazing TOOLS. Doraemon was sent back to the 20th century because Nobita's grandson can't bear to see his grandfather suffer. So he sent Doraemon to help out with Nobita's troubles.

Nobita
Nobita Nobi, he is the main character in the story. He is the MAIN charcter in the story, as oppose to Doraemon and everybody else. Anyway, he is a pretty irresponsible boy. He gets 0's on his tests, and that really hinders his chances of getting hooked up with Shizuka. In the future, Nobita and Shizuka are set to be married, but it seems like Shizuka is too good for Nobita. Strangely Nobita always seems to interrupt Shizuka while she is taking a bath. Well anyway, whenever he falls into some kind of trouble, he always wants Doraemon to get him out of it.

Looks like it was a cover for something.

If you don't like it, cut it into 1.5" pieces and use them in a postage stamp quilt. :) After you use some of the pieces in an I-Spy quilt, etc.

I've done the "cut it into tiny pieces" thing several times when I didn't like the print/pattern that was on it. The pattern became unrecognizable and only the colors remained.

sawsan 02-13-2011 09:53 PM

Well, What i would say for all this big fan...lol
Thank u for your opinions and 4 whom ask questions there is some replies
the piece is about 4.5 yards so it's bigger than doing bean bags or shoulders or Even pin cushions
Red words as "DoxieMom" says it's DOR AE MON
Small words in white is Fijico-Pro Shogak----and Tv Asani
You make me lough this morning and Sorry to whom have shocking or stomachache
I would remember to send a pic 4 any projects done in the future.
And yes some difinishions i don't understand Rody also a new member like Stack and whack and I-Spy quilt,

Gleniveve 02-14-2011 06:16 AM

This is so confusing.
Can't even imagine what a Stack and Whack is. Please help.
Thanks from Gleniveve

I love it!!! would make cut baby quilts if you used the dog in the center of a square

butterflywing 02-14-2011 02:47 PM

men's undershorts? i've seen worse

JUNEC 02-14-2011 07:05 PM

I think it is cute

Rettie V. Grama 02-15-2011 05:36 AM

I don't agree that it is Ugly fabric. It's all in the beholders eye. I think it would be wonderful as a whole quilt lining for a child, making the quilt reversable or if there is enough make the top pieced with a few of the UMMMMM--Teddi Bears.

tntgranny 02-15-2011 09:44 AM

Fussy cut the characters, frame them in a solid color and use them for all kinds of things - child's quilt, tote (toy) bag, etc.

BobbiG 02-15-2011 08:44 PM

Scrub rags.

Betty Ruth 02-19-2011 06:53 PM

I'd probably use it for the back on a child's quilt, although stack & whack sounds like an even better idea. I really like the colors.
