Elmer's glue must be the next best thing to sliced bread. :D
I did the whole binding for a large quilt with Elmer's.

I sewed my binding to the front, pinned (making sure there is enough
binding to grab), glued, ironed, removed pins and SID in the front. Perfect.
Won't be doing binding any other way.

i tried it but didn't have the thin applicator. i got too much on the fabric and when pressed, it came though the fabric!

Me, too! Ain't it great? And you can try a decorative stitch for the SID.

Every time I'm at a shop I think about getting the Roxanne's so I can reuse the bottle but I never do. I always want to spend that $8 or so on something else. Where do I get printer ink refill bottles? I've never refilled printer inks.

Of course! I'll check next time we're there. Are they already full of ink or can you buy empties?

Don't you have to wait a long time for the Elmers to dry before sewing thru it?

That's why I use Elmer's at the ironing board. Heat sets it in seconds. Roxanne's is thicker and sets without heat, not as strong a bond as the Elmer's heated.
