My daughter would like for me to make new quilts for her boys' beds. They are 8 and 2. She wants the new quilts to grow with them. (I'd like that too) She told me she would like to use a variety of plaids. OK, so you all know how it is, being the doting grandma that I am, I started to collect homespun plaids. Well I came upon a really good deal and bought 17 different 1 yard pieces. Then I cleaned up the stash closet and found more. I think I have enough to now slipcover the whole house. Now my problem is what pattern to use that will "grow" with the boys? Any suggestions? I've been searching off and on all weekend but haven't found anything to show my daughter yet.

I made a bunch of homespun Turning Twenty quilts for my sons and friends. The guys love them and they are fast and easy to make.

Eddie made a wonderful turning Twenties using homespun. I thought I had it bookmarked but don't seem to find it. I've made a raggy quilt out of homespun regular cotton andit turned out great.
