You really got a great response (me too) for ideas. A picture is worth a thousand words. Have fun. Can't waite to see your finished quilts.

I found this one I really like I am planning to make for a friend from her husband's (that recently passed away) old shirts...

How about the super quick jelly roll quilt that has been posted on this board?

That homespun turning twenty is the prettiest turning twenty I have seen. They usually seen too wild. That one looks just right.

Eddie, love the manly quilts. Homespun is one of my favorite fabrics and I love plaids. Rag quilts are great to do with homespun.

I am also using homespun plaids and will do a D9P design. My new favorite design. Looks harder than it actually is. Nice fast quilt pattern.

Homespuns make great chenille quilts too.

I love the pictures posted here. It looks like you're getting some great suggestions. I adore plaids . . . they're my favorites! A simple pattern works really well because they're busy enough on their own. The Turning Twenty and D9P are great uses of them. Please post pictures for us when you get them done. :-D
