I have to make a fast quilt and since I have a bin full of homespun I would like to make Turning Twenty. Could someone give the cutting directions for the block. Many thanks

Peg -
I think the TT is a great suggestion, but if you look through their booklets there are lots of other patterns that have a little more variety. We used the TT "Superman" to make a quilt for a friend and I like the smaller pieces. It still went together really fast, but looks a little more complex than the original TT. Just my $0.02. Darren |
I like the Turning Twenty. I taught that class and everyone got the top done from cutting to sewing in 6 hours (all day class). You would need more time if you were to add another border. Another pattern that would look great is Terry Atkinson's Yellow Brick Road.

All the quilts posted here are beautiful. I may have to start one for my sons. :)

What wonderful uses of plaids. All of the are really great.

Mary, did you have to use interfacing when making the quilts with homespun fabrics?

I'm bookmarking this thread because I, too, have a bin of homespuns. I was thinking of a log cabin, but I like these ideas better.
