I'm working on an appliqued quilt, 12 blocks with a 5 petal flower and circle center, all machine blanket stitched. I would post a picture but don't know how. Learning how to do needle turn applique is next. Hoping to see enough youtube videos to conquer it.

A lot of quilting creativity going on this weekend!

I'll be working on a single Row by Row block that I'm making into a wallhanging for my daughter's room. I think I'm going to be running out of thread for it though before I can get to the store, so I might get to make up a couple more blocks for my Fall themed quilt.

Such lovely projects everyone is working on. I'm looking finishing to seeing the progress.

I plan to finish my BHMQ 2016 I just need to put on the last 2 borders. Then sandwich and quilt 1 or 2 tablerunners. If I have time I want to clean out my sewing room closet.

I am in. I will still be hand quilting on the Welsh Beauty I am making for my grandson and his wife as a wedding gift. I was sick with the flu for 2 weeks and I need to get caught up. Thanks for setting this up. It gives me an added incentive to quilt.

I put in half a day at the office, then DH and I took a road trip to check out something he wanted to look into.

Just got home and took a picture of my WIP - I think this will be the third weekend to work on this one, and hopefully the last.

I am stitching down the center of the black sashing, then putting a computer design in all the blocks that are more than 5 sq in size. I've got this double row outlined and ready for patterns, and two more rows to go.

It's been fun playing with the different designs the machine came with

I am in, again. Believe it or not, I just started another bargello wall hanging:-) I think it is funny that another VQW comes as I am working on a similar project as the last one. I have all the strips sewn, and now cut and they need to be sewn into the final design. I have started this one on my Singer 201-2 but I am planning on quilting it on the 15-88 treadle. I like the control I have on that machine, plus it is so fun to use:-)

I would also like to start on the August blocks from the quilting Bee. Last month I managed to get all of July's made plus one from every previous month. This quilting stuff is sure fun! LOL

I'm in! I am working on a paper piecing project - Violet Craft's Peacock. Trying to stay realistic with my expectations - this is an enormous project. I hope to get the 20 main feathers done this weekend, and maybe a bit more. I'd also like to finish putting together my Tardis top - just 1 section to go for that one, assembling it on my vintage 1937 Singer.
And I will get some more sections quilted on a Bali Wedding Ring quilt, for one of the members here.

I already finished quilting one top - a Canada 150 applique project - for a customer this morning.

Here's to a busy weekend!

I am keeping grandchildren this week-end. Day 8,9 & 10. Have been busy, but cutting out Sylvia Bridal Quilt blocks when they nap. They will be flying out Sunday morning. If I have enough energy left will try to sew a block or two, Sunday afternoon. Today I worked on EPP, a Patchwork of the Crosses block, i had already prepped. Lack 8 more pieces. If have time in AM will finish and take pic. Have a good weekend.

Rob, your piece looks so interesting. Can't wait to see how it turns out.
