I have finished piecing a blue bargello, now I need to see if I have what I need in the way of batting and backing. I am planning on using one of the colors from the jelly rolls for the binding.

I am also playing around with arranging the monthly blocks from New Sewing Bee. They (the folks on the Bee) actually expect me to make a quilt! LOL, I didn't know that part of it:-)

Amazing quilting going on today, everyone!

This morning I was trimming the bushes and doing yard work, so no quilting done then. But this afternoon has been better. My DH and I got the balance wheel off my 1950's Singer 15-91 (finally! It's been a drama!) so that's one more step forward to making that my FMQ machine--- so exciting!! After that I did more of my RxR wall hanging. It's not done of course, but here it is. It's from Holton, KS. I didn't buy the kit, but used my own collection of ginghams for it.

This is so cute!! I love it

I made quite a bit of progress this weekend. It doesn't look like much, but 20 peacock feathers are now complete! On to the next section.

And here is my super secret (shhh, it's a gift) Tardis quilt. Fortunately, I can pretty much guarantee the recipient will never see this post.

I almost have the quilting done on the Hot Cross Buns table runner. It has been an all day project and I stopped before I made mistakes from being too tired.

This has been a fun productive weekend! Although I haven't done any quilting today, I did use my pressure cooker for the first time and did a whole chicken in it, then pulled it apart and froze it. Also made meals for the next couple days since I'll be pretty busy. And caught up on some household chores. Now I'm headed upstairs to cut some stuff so I'm ready to quilt with a friend tomorrow. I'm way behind on the blocks for the Cookbook quilt along with Amy Gibson. I'm hoping to get several of them done tomorrow.

I've managed to finish the 2nd crayon quilt that I had posted about in July https://www.quiltingboard.com/pictur...ml#post7868308
And now I have been doing the cutting on a new baby quilt called Hedgehog Haven by Cheri Leffler that I will work on at my September retreat.
Love seeing all the pictures, not much new to show today from me.

Good evening everyone, just beautiful work everyone posed pictures of, it all was very charming. I decided that this month I wasn't going to be active so I didn't add to the conversations this time. But, I did do a little piecing and some embroidering around here. Just couldn't get my head and hands motivated to work this time around. Thank you for hosting the thread, lovely work by everyone. Here is a shot of the piecing that I did get done.
