Tessagin. If you google this WWW.SewingPalace.com you will find great prices & great blades, I have been buying from this man for over 10 yrs and never received a bad blade & he mails the right out with no postage.

You can buy the tru cut blade sharpener from Walmart website and pick up at store to save shipping.

I have a TrueCut sharpener and it works great. It runs fast and the stones must have oil at all times. A few seconds dry and the blade is destroyed.

I send mine in to lpsharp.com and buy olfa. They re-cycle the used blades. I have not compared their prices to ebay but plan to. I like that they re-cycle!

I saw on a thread here about Sassy Scrubs' deal on rotary blades. Decided I would give them a try and have to say I am very pleased. They work just a good as the Olfa's and at a much lower price. I too have tried the sharpening route and decided it was just not worth it.

My father used to sharpen my cutters. They were brilliant but we only did this on each blade 3 times for safety as the shrank slightly each time. Since he passed I've purchased packs of ten at a time usually from amazon as they come delivered.

I have spent enough money buying sharpeners and have never found one that is worth the money. I wish I had spent the money on rotary blades instead.

I sharpen my blades all the time. I love the sharpener I use from Joann's and with a coupon costs about $12. The sharpener I use is listed below. It has 2 sides coarse and fine. I use the fine side mostly. I rotate the blade 20 times and then flip it over and 20 times on the other side. I love it and the blades are always sharp after sharpening. I use the coarse side only when there is a bur on the blade. I have never had a dull blade in my sewing room.

I also purchase blades from Harbor Freight cost is about a dollar a blade. They come in a 2 pack. Love them.
