My bank also told me to be wary of Mo's. Boyfriend sells stuff on Craigslist, you wouldnt believe the responses we get!

Or turn the tables on him and ask for his name, address and phone number . With the internet and reverse directory you can check out the phone number to see who it is issued to . Tell him no cell number. See what they do then

The web site SNOPES.COM warns about this kind of scam all the time. Trust your instincts ... delete the message and move on!

Don't take him up on it. The money order or cashiers check is probably fake. Stay away from any offer that will give you extra money.

If you list them on Ebay you won't have any contact with the potential buyer. All your transactions go through ebay and paypal. It's much safer. You don't have to list as an auction item, you can list as a buy only item. This guy sounds like a cyber stalker.
It's sad that it's so risky even to place a regular ad in a newspaper. All kinds of creeps call. Be careful!
