Thanks! I hope to get a new cutting mat this week so I can start sewing. I hope to make another self binding receiving blanket then I am thinking of makeing a D9P quilt out of same fabric I picked up while at the place I got my machine.

Here is my sewing area! Need to re-organize some stuff but at least I got my sewing area table back.

Janome uses an "A" bobbin also known as class 15. Enjoy your new machine. I love my janomes.

I have that exact same sewing table and DH was able to fit my DC3050 right into the original cutout after making a little shelf for it to sit on.

Congrats on your new machine she is lovely.

I love both my little Janome I carry to guild and the bigger one . They are both so quiet and I love them . I think you will too . I have my work horse Bernina and it is a really good machine too. I have a universal sewing table to sell that fits the Janome. It is listed in the area of things to sell. Enjoy that machine .

We talked about that but I did want it where I could use the free arm since I make lots of skirts and pants for my DD. And he had just the right size board and I had left over layer cakes that fit just right over it. I put a strip of velcro on the back to keep it from moving. It seems to work thus far.

And thanks everyone. I hope to do some sewing on her today actually! So far it has been playing with the stitching and just sewing the layer cakes together to cover the wood.

Try them first. If they don't work well in the new machine, just put them on the thread peg and rewind onto a new bobbin.
