Default Well I did it, I bought a Janome...

DC2011!!! She is a beauty! She is super quiet compared to my old Singer. She is sitting on top of my Singer cabinet. I lost some sewing space but I am sure I will figure something out. Now I hope to get some fabric tomorrow. Oh and she does have 7 feet with her! So yay!

Wonderful machine! Congratulations to you!

Oh did you know that hancock fabrics sells the different feet and bobbins for janome? I know many quilting stores do too. I bought every one of them at windy moon quilts and hancocks when I had my janome. It was so inexpensive compaired to the bernina feet. Thier site shows all that available, janome.com I believe. And there is lots of projects and tutorials on how to use the feet too. A walking foot is a must! I sold mine on the quilting board a year ago christmas.

Enjoy the new machine. You will love it!

Enjoy your new machine. I have a Janome and I love her. She is 10 years old, and I haven't found anything that she can't do. I think she is my best friend!!! Happy Mother's Day.

Thanks!! I am so excited! I am itching to sew something. lol

I need to find what size bobbins to get. I have some for my Singer and they fit but are shorter than the one that it had with it. I have used for a few test stitches and the tension is fine. Any suggestions on bobbin size? The manual doesn't say, or at least I haven't found it.

Congratulations on your new machine ... I know the excitement and cheer you on to enjoying using it!

I now have my fourth Janome and have loved everyone, more and more!

Bobbins ... Some will look very close and you may be tempted to use them .... then you might wonder why your machine does not work right. Just buy them from your dealer so you are sure to have the right ones.
