Well, I'll be darn.
The first step in the pattern was to cut 92 green squares -- go across the page and it say size 4 1/2" squares. Fine. I cut the 92 squares 4 1/2" squares. Then I notice the size of 6 1/2" squares. Ugggh, the 4 1/2" squares are for the wallhanging size not the full quilt size I want to make. Oh well, it's a great fun pattern I think I'll make both sizes. It's this one:

It is a cute pattern and you have a jump on making the wall hanging!

What a darling pattern. Thanks for sharing. Your wall hanging will be beautiful.

Rag Santa - very cute! We will look forward to seeing the quilt & wallhanging :)

One to keep and one to gift! Now you just need to decide which will be which.

That is super cute!! A wall hanging will be cute but bummer since that means you'll have to get more fabric... Unless you have it stashed. Lol
|
hahah I once cut about 300 60 degree diamonds, when I turned the page of the patternbook it turned out they had to be 45 degrees.....fortunately I had enough fabric.
Nice pattern and you started well in time with it!!! |
I'm using fabric from my stash. All shades and prints of greens, blues, reds, and I'm adding golds too. What better way to then a rag quilt to use up fabric and these patterns are not boring at all.

I'm afraid that I'd be thinking a word a bit stronger than "darn." :D
|
great attitude...it is a really cute pattern..can't have too much Santa!!
