My DH Decided that he wanted to go or a long drive, "just to get away". We drove to Tonkhannock, PA. Onthe way there we stopped at "The Old Sea Hags" I bought her home made soap! When we reached Tonkhannock, He took me to Endless Mountain Quiltworks!!! She stayed a bit, handed me "CASH!" and then headed over to the tractor store across the street. I felt like a kid in the candy store! They were having a Fat Quarter Frenzy and so I joined in the fun! 20 FQ's for $25! I bought some patterns, more material, a book and a kit! This will keep me busy all summer!
We stopped at "Twiggs Cafe" for a beautiful outdoor lunch. The temperature was just right today. on the way home, we watched some handgliders and private airplane take off and land with grace and beauty. We even stopped at an alpaca farm! What a trip! and what a nice Day with my DH.

LOL, I'd still go op the tractor store with him, But no cash Hee, Hee, I'm looking for a job. The cash thing was just a nice surprise! His mother wants a quilted purse and I am making it for her for Mothers day. But, he did give me a little extra for myself. He is one of a kind.

AlisaQuilts 05-02-2010 01:01 PM

Will do!

Your hubby sounds like my wife in a way.

We we on a trip back from out property in middle TN and I saw a 1950 bullet nosed Studebaker sitting in the woods. I told her I wouldn't mind having a car like that. She said why dont you buy it?

Needless to say I own a '50 Studebaker coupe now.
