I was in a fog trying to figure out what you all were saying about putting these hexes together, the harder I tried, the less I knew. This link above was the "ahha" moment for me. It is so simple when you see it .

OBW was very hard for me to figure out too! I ended up taking a class. The end results: a beautiful quilt but I don't think I will make another one!

Thanks so much for the video. I was impressed with the way you made the seam stand up before you opened it. I have never seen that done. My OBW is in pieces in the closet but may get put together sooner rather than later!

You're very welcome - those open seams can be tricky and the 'wiggle and press' technique makes it so much easier. Look forward to seeing your OBW when it comes out of the closet! :-D

This is the end result - I'm happy! I WILL do another one one day as they are such a surprise when finished. Thanks to EVERYONE who helped me as I truly was at the end of my rope and ready to toss everything. Love ya' all .............God bless!
