I like the snowball quilt with the 9 patch idea. Or make a jacket for yourself....A Little Something Jacket is a nice one and easy to do.

Wowzers! That is exactly what I need for a border for my seahorse log cabin! Sorry I don't have any suggestions for you better than those others have made. :-D

I think the Kathryn wheel would look neat, but depends on what else you'd do. similar to storm at sea.

I took a look at this website--thanks--it has a lot of good info.

Look at Kaye Wood's videos, she does a lot of stuff with fuzzy cutting.

Sorry, I don't have any new suggestions. but I did want to thank crafty gal for the link for the square in a square. I wanted to do this pattern; it has been so many years that I couldn't even think of the name of the pattern. You never know what you will find if you read in this site, lol.

Depending on the size of the sea-horses, Judy Cisneros' Patchwork Pizzazz method might work. She cuts rectangles and squares of the theme fabric (61/2, 121/2 sq. and 61/2x121/2 rectangles, if I remember rightly, and uses the remaining fabric along with her other fabric choices for nine-patches and occasional fill-in strips. It is straightforward (literally!) and you still end up with something original and personal. Can't lay my hands on the book right now, so please check those sizes.
