My computer chair with lower lumbar support. Unfortunately, I find myself leaning forward lots of times; so defeats the purpose of the chair.

I bought one with lumbar support from stales, it is great I do not remember the brand right now, if you are interested please pm me and I will respond once I get home.

I don't have a chair.

I took some classes with Harriet Hargrave and she started one class talking about ergonomics. She told us what chair she uses. I had already had one back surgery and was conscious of the need for a good sewing environment. [Remember she sewing machine quilts all her quilts.] Well, her chair was costly and luckily didn't fit me. So I saw what the personnel at the office furniture store were using: a swopper. I talked them into letting me try it out over a weekend, went in with it Monday, and bought a new one. It is like sitting on a stable balance ball. It has no wheels. I have it on a throw rug. I love it.

Same my husband got for me don't sit back too often but try for good posture when at the machine.

I have a high back executive office chair that a neighbor was throwing out. After she purchased it, she never got around to unwrapping and unpacking it. It was wrapped in batting and after a long, hot summer in her garage, the batting fused to the chair! When we spotted it at the curb, it looked like weird modern art. I got most of the fluff off, but there are some stubborn spots. I plan (haha) to make a cover for it and give it to my husband. I have my eye on a drafting chair.

Office chair, bench, dining chair....wherever I can find the space.

I use a good quality office chair. A good hint is not tosccuh into to comfortable a position, but try to keep the position you would use when you are typing. If you don't know what that is go to the library and look at beginning typing book.

Don't laugh at me, but I use a wheel chair. I broke my ankle and had to use a wheel chair for about 6 months. I realized that these chairs are made to be comfortable for hours on end. I have removed the foot rests and I love it in my sewing room! Often thought I should pretty it up, but haven't found time to do it. And I can fold it up out of the way if I need to!

I use a surgeon's stool that I picked up at a surplus sale at the hospital. I love it because it doesn't take up much room, it twirls around. I don't really need back support while sewing as you never sit back to sew!
