I am working with 5" squares right now, making half triangle squares HTS
there are books out working with 5" charm squares, do a google and you should find something, all the group here will give you lots of ideas too, :) |

there are a couple really good books out there called NICKLE QUILTS...they use 5" squares...thus the nickle :)
do a search and you will find lots of patterns for nickles...and charm pack books would use the same 5" squares because charm packs are 5" squares. have fun, the sky is the limit! |

Pat Speth has 3 books published with quilt patterns that all start with 5 inch squares. They are beautiful.

Not a beginner project but I make mine into flying geese units. each 5" block makes two and then it gets real scrappy

I would just make a scrappy quilt. It will be pretty and colorful. Keep us posted what you decide to do.
