I seem to recall seeing a pattern for braided rugs made with poly fabric cut into strips, folded, braided and then sewn together in a circle. I will try to find the pattern. I suspect they would last forever, but might slip when you walked on them. Also not sure if the poly would be hard on a rotary cutter????

Put the blue green stripe one to use for tote bags. It will look awsome. I like the pink design one also. Gift them if you dont like them.
