Could you cut it into 12 inch squares and make it like you were making a tshirt quilt? You could use stabilizer to keep it from stretching and make a patchwork quilt. I think it would be really cute. My family likes the patchwork quilts best of all

Polyester or fortrel makes the best quilts. My family has lots that were made by my grandma and mom. Very cosy if backed with flannel. Easily washed and will last forever. We love them.

the really slinky, stuff is hard to give away,,BUT the thicker really horrid ones are the best for making CAR emergency blankets! Adult bibs and lap throws for Sr homes, and for weaving into throw rugs for the kitchen! Here in OK the Mennonite community buys up that poly as fast as you can bring it out! WHY you ask...because it stands the test of time and hard use...so for woven/braided rugs, emergency blankets, pet blankets etc....nothing lasts longer, or wears better!

One man's (or woman's) trash is another man's treasure.....Goodwill.......

I would not use polyester in a quilt. Maybe you can find another use for it, or send it to the resale shop.
Maybe someone else can find a use for it.

my quilting group has made beautiful quilts to give to people in need.

I would give it away or throw it out. I would not spend my time and efforts on that fabric for quilting. Just my opinion.

I gave seven bags of this to a church that made quilts for overseas and homeless people. They were very appreciated to get the fabric.
