I got lost. Can I get a road map please?

If someone asks me a question in a post I normally answer it, ONCE, and then if someone else comes along and asks the same question I will refer them to my earlier post with the answer. I don't mind typing but I hate being repetitive!

Aren't these people great??!!!! But let me assure you that you will get acclamated (sp?) in no time. No one is more handicapped with the computer than me. And I have learned a few things (with the help of all these good people). Go to the top left corner of the page and see Quilting Forum in dark blue letters. Click on that. On the page that pops up, scroll down until you get to tutorials. Click on that. And then start scrolling until you find what you are looking for. I think on the pineapple, it the 2nd or third page. (The page numbers are at the very top right and the very bottom right.) I can't believe I'm trying to give advice. :oops:

And that all so important 1/4 inch seam isn't so important as long as the blocks are all put together the same using the same width of seam. I just use the edge of my foot. Well not that foot!! I can't get it up that high!!

If I have a question, I will go back to the 1st post and re-read it. Usually my answer is there, if not, then I will ask if I see no one else asked it before me.

Upnorth---Cute!!! LOL! I know what you mean about the 1/4 in. I have a 1/4 in foot, but it isn't right on. If I am doing something for someone else, like a swap or group quilt, I use the featherweight, which has the same foot as mine. It has to be the needle position of mine and it doesn't move.

Most of you probably alread know this..................but for those that don't, here is a good way to measure a true 1/4 inch.
The lines on a Index Card are truely 1/4inch apart.
I use this to line up my needle, and then put my painters tape down.
Works great every time.
