I answer in the post. I have seen where folks ask the same question, in fact I have been one of them. I sometimes do not read all the responses.

On the very bottom of the index card is a small line that I usually cut off with a blade and a ruler. then put my needle on the line and my tape next to that.

Moonpi - I used to manage an instructional design team for a major corporation. My team was responsible for developing training materials to be used for the national segment of our organization. I have to say that if some of my instructional designers had written as clearly and simply as you have done in your tutorial, my job would have been a whole lot easier! Very well done!
