Just wanted to say I ordered 2 bundles and mine were mostly nice ones. I had a couple that will be a challenge, but I was pleased overall.

Here are the fat quarters I received. There are some I really don't like, some I really like, but most are so-so.

Don't you find it easier to cut up ugly fabric and use it? I find it difficult to cut into my 'pretty' fabrics...:) |

I thought of a good use for my "ugly" FQ's today -- make
yo-yo's out of them. With yo-yo's you mostly see the basic color. |
You can always cut them up into confetti to be used as stuffing for other projects. That way, you won't have to ever look at them again or inflect their ugliness on anyone else. Good luck!

louder the print, smaller the cut piece. Eventually you won't see it. Look at 3" blocks as an example. And never look a gift horse in the mouth LOL :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

I'd probably cut it into strips to use in scrap quilts, well hidden among the other fabrics. Billy Lauder says there are no ugly fabrics and she purposely searches them out cuz they add pizzaz to quilts. She likes to make lots of scrappy 4 patch quilts.
But I've seen some ugly fabrics that seem to have no redeeming 'beauty' to them. So I use them as foundation for string blocks. |
