Have fun making your baby things,... I can't seem to keep up.. made one in Jan for granddaughter, this one for nephews boy due April, and a nieces girl due in May. My only suggestion was to be about the white binding but I see you've already had a change of heart. I'm chomping at the bit to get started on a baby quilt for our new grandchild coming in September. Just waiting for the word on whether it's a girl or boy! |

How about using red for the binding.? A white binding on a baby quilt will really get the use and show dirt and stains pretty quick

I love your blocks and color choices, but to my eye and IMHO, I think it's a bit 'color heavy' on the outside. Or perhaps it needs a bit more of that beautiful vibrant red toward the center. Again, this is just my most humble opinion and personal preference.

try arrange the small 4 patches so the white is in the center of each one, I think it may make the block pop instead of fade into the adjoining block. this is a cute top!

This was what I would suggest also to bring some balance to the quilt. Otherwise great job. |
Oh, a boy would/will love this quilt. I definitely want to see it finished.
