Hey that is a really great idea! I always have to rewind them and sometimes have a stringy mess.

I don't have pictures but maybe after taking the kid to school. lol

ETA the picture looks like you cut a piece OUT but you don't that one is just stretched out from being on a really full bobbin.

What a great idea! I've been using Hugo's Amazing Tape http://www.amazingtape.com/ but I might just have to try your method.

I got mine from a friend but I think they have them at joann's so using a coupon gets the price down.

I use two bobbin savers and they work great. One is for the Featherweight and one is for my other machine.

I use painter's tape and tape down the loose end and put them in a prescription bottle and they are all ready for me when I need them - no cost whatsoever. Edie

I use a reinforcements on each bobbin to hold the the to the side, then I put a golf tee through the hole and insert the tee into the hole in the spool of thread. They are stored in a SnapWare container with a handle. I keep empty bobbins and extra filled bobbins in the 7-day pill containers.

I use a toolbox with a handle and wheels for transporting my sewing gear. I will take a photo when I get to UFO this morning and post it later.

Medicine bottles. What a great storage idea. I have a few almost empty. Thanks for sharing!

I stack my bobbins on the matching spools of thread that are on one of those peg holders. If I kept them in a box, though, I would use your idea. Practical & Darling at the same time! :-)
