I have a Brothers 270 which does 4"X4" only. It was from Wal-mart for $350. Then I got a Jamone MC350E at a dealer for $1,250 and love it. I can make an 8" square and 5"X7" sizes also. Hope this helps.

I'm on my third Brothers Embroidery machine. The last one I bought was their latest and greatest the Quatro2. I love it. It has very large hoops and a camera to line up your design. Believe me it's worth checking out

JenOSU, I have a Singer Futura CE-100. I bought it because it's a rather basic machine, somewhat in expensive, and a good deal to learn on. I started out wanting to drop it out of a window, because I just couldn't get the hang of it. But I got the threading down pat and am having fun with it. I would suggest that you go to the store and test one before you decide to buy it. And, above all, remmeber that the needles and threads you use have to be embroidery thread and needles. Once I gave in to that I have been learning, enjoying, and embroiderying.
Good luck.

I posted earlier about my Ellegante that is in the shop..I took it in and looks like what it needs is under warranty, so that is good. What is really good is that the shop owner offered me a loaner while my machine was being repaired..that is awesome! Like others have said, part of buying the machine is the shop you purchase it at!!

I noticed many have the 7570. I also have but when I had to buy a new laptop, they will not talk to each other. Any ideas? I bought a new cable from Pfaff but that did help.

does your computor have windows 7? you may need to update your machine, check their website for info. Had to with mine. Win 7 seems to not work withmany things, I had to buy a new printer because my old one didn't 'talk' to my new laptop. I have since learned to look for updates on all my new things. Just a thought, I could be wrong. good luck.
