good grief, how many times do people have to explain what a purple thang is....doesn't anyone read previous posts....sorry but it is so annoying to me to read posts and have people ask the same thing over and over again....it is amazing when people just jump in and never read what has been said previously!!!!!!!!!!

Yea the magnetic pin holder. I love mine. I have several large ones, one for the really large straight pins, then normal sized straight pins, then large safety pins and applique tiny pins and then my normal straight pins. I don't have one large enough for the safety pins that I baste top, bat, and back with. I have to keep them in a tin and untangle as I use.

I save slivers of bar soap and use that for marking the darker colors. . .so easy after they are very dry. I have a collection of colored pencils, soft pencils, purple disappearing pens, white pens, etc. I find nothing easy about marking a quilt. How about you all?

The pounce pad is great. You can choose your colors of (chalk?) I forgot what it is called and it actually stays on while you are quilting. I haven't had a problem with it washing out either.

I too do not like the green Bobbin Tower---the bobbins are hard to get out, it won't stay together at all--went back to plastic boxes. This way I can separate and label quilting vs regular vs embroidery bobbins. On the other hand I love my June Tailor ruler with the every 1/2 inch slits--for the lady who was having trouble, go get stick on sandpaper dots and place them all over the bottom---they are just the right size to fit between the slits and really hold the fabric in place. I also love my new "handles" that suction cup onto my omnigrid rulers--less strain on hands, fingers and wrists.
