I have a list of quilts I would like to make and it is getting longer and longer. Each time I am on here, a new quilt finds its way on the list....
I will either start a scrappy one, the spiral table topper or a pineapple block wall hanging.
So, what quilt is next on your list?

AlwaysQuilting 12-22-2010 01:48 AM

I have 3 T-shirt quilts that are supposed to have been ready by Xmas but she didn't give me the t-shirts till yesterday. I'm too busy with Xmas right now so I told her I'd try to have them soon
after Jan. 1.

Annaquilts 12-22-2010 01:50 AM

King size wedding quilt for DS.

sewTinker 12-22-2010 01:50 AM

next quilt on my list is a non-scrappy, disappearing four patch.

I think.

Will also be working on a Think Outside The Block quilt.

But first I need to finish my mom's quilt (about 3/4-way there). hahaha...

leatheflea 12-22-2010 02:16 AM

scrappy nine patch for mom, lonestar for dad, bricks for my son.

117becca 12-22-2010 02:54 AM

i just started piecing my next one - it'll go to my mom. My goal is to piece it & baste it while i'm off these next couple weeks. I'm almost done w/ my Grandma's Flower Garden.

I've 2 rows put together - haven't figured out what's left yet

JenniePenny 12-22-2010 02:58 AM

A 16" miniature quilt! I've found just the right 7 fabrics from my stash.

SuziC 12-22-2010 03:08 AM

D 9patch is my next one....i think

Japonica 12-22-2010 03:28 AM

Three more rag quilts for the the 3 GK's I didn't get a chance to make for Christmas! Got 3 done for the other 3 though!

Mrs B 12-22-2010 03:55 AM

a 'Show us where you're from' doll quilt for Chele's swap.
Got the pattern in the post today.

granky 12-22-2010 04:05 AM

I'll definitely start a 'Nines and Vines', (http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-81967-1.htm)but since the nine patch squares are 1" patches it will be one I'll swap off on. Want to do a 'Kendra Quilt'(http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-83827-1.htm) and at least a dozen others! Have to finish a couple of UFO's first...

mollymct 12-22-2010 04:34 AM

A baby quilt for my new niece arriving in February! Something simple.

fidgety 12-22-2010 04:47 AM

Baby quilts for our new twin GS's to be born in march if not before..

gypsyquilter 12-22-2010 04:51 AM

I'm knee deep in a Judy Neimeyer double wedding ring, which btw fellow quilters, is not as hard as it looks. if you can sew a straight line, you can do this pattern.

In the moments between working on this I am going to work on a quilt with bright yellows, pinks, greens, purple, blues black and white with a bumble bee motiff. This fabric is so not like the stuff I usually pick out, but it was just too cute to pass up in the shop.

then i'm going to attempt to finish the landscape wall hanging started in October but just have not finished yet.

Log Cabin scene of an Adobi House Village

thequiltmama 12-22-2010 05:25 AM

I have a "winter wonderland", "any witch way", and "take 5" to get done.....and the other boss is sending a project over next week. But most of them I won't even look at until the first of the year. Holidays are crazy and I am not planning on making them any crazier. :-)

leonajo 12-22-2010 05:30 AM

Turning Twenty with Purple Batiks . Maybe a scrappy of some sort....something simple to use up alot of shirt and dress material that I have piled around lol, colors may be a little bright.

Lacelady 12-22-2010 05:33 AM

Affairs of the Heart - an applique quilt that several of us want to stitch together here.

LindaR 12-22-2010 06:48 AM

I am trying very hard NOT to start a new one, they keep circling in my head but I am resisting...working on the GMFG now and am determined LOL

katsewnsew 12-22-2010 07:25 AM

Starting my first rag quilt, a donation for Breast Cancer Benefit. They seem easy enough, so hope all turns out well.

janedee 12-22-2010 07:31 AM

Finish my sisters!! but I have just cut out pieces for a Dresden Plate

quiltsRfun 12-22-2010 07:42 AM

A Quick Trip quilt for my daughter and SIL. Hopefully I can finish it by their anniversary in February. I've also started cutting scraps and piling them next to my machine for a leaders and enders quilt.

Sadiemae 12-22-2010 07:51 AM

My Mom started an Irish Chain for me before she passed almost 10 years ago. I haven't done anything with it because I don't have a pattern. It is time to sit down and figure out what is next. She only completed one block.

trif 12-22-2010 08:26 AM

I have all the fabric for two large laker's quilts for b-day gifts that I need to make, already have my pattern, one to be completed in January and the other in February, they are for my husbands friends.

amma 12-22-2010 09:27 AM

Baby quilts for the children's hospital :D:D:D

JeriLovesFabric 12-22-2010 09:38 AM

I've just started my first quilt. I have made 12 10-minute blocks so far. I am very excited.

craftyone27 12-22-2010 09:41 AM

My next is a quick 4 patch kit that I need to return to Quilts for Kids before the end of January. I also am contemplating a D9P for my DFIL for his bday - he will be 80 on January 9th. After that I have plans to actually do a quilt for myself and my family - a throw for the den that we can all use!!

jkwynn 12-22-2010 09:41 AM

I'd like to try the super quick jelly roll quilt.

QuiltnCowgirl 12-22-2010 10:06 AM

Two quilts are next on my list:

#1 - finish the quilt top shown in my avatar. Is was my very first, done last year in a Quilting 101 class. I'm ready now to machine quilt & bind it. Not skeered anymore lol

#2 - ready to start the quilt to be made from the fabric scraps I inherited from my late Mom. She saved fabric from the clothes she made us kids, and some from things I made in 4-H in jr/sr high. She always planned to make quilts for us 3 kids. Never got them done, so now I am. I'm starting mine in January. I've decided on a pattern that will work well with the wide variety of prints & colors. I want to be sure to use each fabric at least once in the quilt.

sandraa 12-22-2010 12:26 PM

Horse theme for 10 yr old I think of as my GD and hot pink/zebra for her 14 (going on 20) sister.

J.M. 12-22-2010 12:30 PM

Working on an Irish Chain quilt, and going to work on a Silvia's Bridal Sampler and a scrappy Dear Jane next year

ann clare 12-22-2010 12:31 PM

After some of my UFO's Scrappy Irish Chain.

Midwestmary 12-22-2010 12:58 PM

What fun to read about all the upcoming projects! Amazing the endless possibilities there are to create...really hard to narrow down what to do next :) ...think the biggest priority right now is to try to get a handle on this pile of UFO's - anyone else there with me????

jlm5419 12-22-2010 01:05 PM

I just finished the Crazy Daisy quilt for DGD, will take it to her just after Christmas.

Next on the list is a T-shirt quilt for DDIL, by request. After that, a friend has asked for a puzzle quilt like I made for DGS.

And somewhere in there, I need to make a green quilt for DS.

For myself, I have a pattern for a bargello that I'd like to make for myself...eventually.

Twisted Quilter 12-22-2010 02:08 PM

I'm on a break from cutting pieces for my Buckeye Beauty, so I won't be finished with this one for a while. Next on my to-do list is a memory quilt. It would be wonderful if I could get it done for the 2011 reunion.

CoriAmD 12-22-2010 02:12 PM

After the holidays, I am going to start a green, black, white quilt for my granddaughter's birthday. I still haven't decided which patter to use, but I do have all the fabrics in my stash so it is going to be sort of a scrappy look.

Sweeterthanwine 12-22-2010 04:36 PM

I would love to start on the Dogwood Quilt that I saw posted on this board. It will be a long one because it is so much to do. It may be finished by 2012. In the meantime I have two UFO that need to be finished and quilted. I also have several wall hangings I want to do. Whew - don't know where to start!!

WOW! I got twin GGS's coming in March also.

TracyRenea 12-23-2010 02:31 AM

I hoping to make my first quilt that will stay on my bed - Thinking outside the box. I also plan to start a Bargello for my DD for I expect an engagement announcement soon. Want to give it as a wedding gift. Thankfully I should have plenty of time to make a practice one first then the actual one for her & her love. (Really just an excuse to make one for myself ;)

olebat 12-23-2010 02:53 AM

I owe a wedding quilt. Spoke with the couple Monday, and they would appreciate a king in earth tones. Need to figure out a pattern - haven't decided on that yet.

There is a fleece cheater to rack on the LA, which will actually be the next, but I don't officially count those. Also, in the early January line-up is a cat fabric line queen size for my adult, live at home "daughter", with matching curtains and shams. It will be a fussy cut block with sashing and cornerstones. I made a window cat earlier this week for that project. (I needed to put something together rather quickly, to rest my mind, after making the Quilt Police Bait.) That will probably be my retreat quilt, not a lot of thinking involved so I'll have plenty of chatter time.
