I have the Olfa 28, 45 and 60 but love, love, love the Gingher 45 quick change! It's pricey but lasts forever and ergonomic and oh so lovely!

45mm kai cut is the one most used by me

This may sound dumb..but what would be the difference between using a 45 and a 60 besides it being bigger. What is the advantage - one vs the other.

I love my Olfa ergonomic 45 cutter. I have small hands and this size works best for me. I also like that the blade automatically retracts once I let go of the handle. I'm always forgetting to push the blade guard after I cut on the other ones. I have a smaller blade that I use when using some templates.

Thanks for the tip on the pinking blade potentially damaging the cutting mat. Great idea however in pinking the edges when you pre-wash for less ravels.

The first cutter I bought was a 45 Fiskars, I used it for a while but retired it completely because the cap that screwed onto the plastic screw would not stay, it loosened on it's own after short use and the blade would wobble. I went to a 45 Olfa that I loved until I used someone's 60 at a class and now that is my most used favorite. I've never used a pinking blade so no opinion other than I don't really have a desire to try one.

I have an Olfa 45mm and a 60mm, and I use the 45mm almost exclusively. I also have a pinking edge rotary cutter, but I rarely use it.

Ditto the Olfa 45 the most. Have a 60 but interesting enough the 60 seems to loose the sharpness quicker than my 45? Might just be the blades I bought.

I have numerous rotary cutters. Just bought the Martelli one and was given another when I bought one of their cutting tables. I have 4 or 5 45mm..one or two 24mm, one 18mm and one 60mm. The one I love the most is my 60mm Olfa. I would be totally lost without it. I use it if I'm cutting several layers or one. Once in a while I need to use something smaller if trying to cut tight places but I always go back to my 60mm. Once I got use to it..nothing will take it's place.

I have been using the Olfa original yellow 45mm cutter for about fifteen years and it still works. I think I got my moneys worth! Who says things aren't made to last any more.:D
peace

I have all three sizes but it's 60 in constant use.
