I use an 18 or 28 when cutting curves. Otherwise I use a 45 or 60.

45 Olfa ergonomic the most. Then the 60, again ergonomic, if I'm cutting multiple layers. I've used the smaller ones for cutting curves and doing twisters.

I use the 45 most often. Yes, the pinking blade is worth every penny to me. I use it on fabric edges before washing. They still ravel some but not like before pinking. The blade is not as "pinky" as the old scissors but does a good job anyway.

What a good idea for pre washing fabric! I will definitely do this.

Has any of you ever used a rotary cutter with a pinking edge?
Does that work well to keep the raw edge of the fabric from unraveling?

I use the Gingher 45. It is awesome. Very expensive unless you get it on Ebay or with a coupon - well worth the price. I bet I have 15 cutters laying around - don't use them since the Gingher.

Olfa 28mm is my fave.

45 mm is the best for me...

60 m Olfa with quick change blade ALL the time. Wouldn't go back to 45 for general use. Like riding a bike - want to pedal with 12" wheels or 20"? The pinking blade WILL ruin your mat - ask me how I know!

Since I got my Accuquuilt Go, I rarely use rotary cutters. When I do use one, the 45 is my choice. The zig zig damages mats, so turn the mat over and use the back.

I use the 45mm for cutting 2 layers and the 60mm for more than 2 layers.

I use the 60 the most. Mine is a Dritz, but apparently JoAnns and WalMart don't carry them any more. I just bought a Fiskars and it is ok but I am used to the Dritz. I don't have to worry about closing the blade and it fits my hand just perfect.
