Add coordinating fabrics and make log cabin blocks???

Just hang onto it! You may only want to use some of them in a different quilt. May be perfect for a couple of samplers or use them all in a sampler! So many options that it does get confusing..

Turning Twenty is my go-to--it really shows off the fabric.
|
Use a turning 20 pattern, I think 9 is neededfor a lap quilt.

You need matching yardage for background, binding, borders. Fats are great for the variety of fabrics but you do need coordinates.

Did you see the ones on the PBtex site? http://www.pbtex.com/FDRO_pattern-NM-rev1.pdf

This is one that Peckish posted on another thread: Spanish Tiles - it's a beautiful quilt, imho. Designed for FQ's. I did buy the book but not FQ's, I got yardage.

Would really need to see the fabrics.
Let them sit there a bit. Pet them. Shift them around. They will speak to you and let you know what to do. |
