Anka's Treasures has a lot of great patters using fat quarters. Sweet Pea, Hopscotch, Gypsy girl, Spaghetti Junction... just to name a few (that I've made)

When I get a FQ bundle, it sits out nice and pretty on my shelf, where I can look at it for a while. At some point in time I come across the perfect pattern for it. THAT'S when I'll use it :) I find FQ bundles the perfect decoration for my sewing room LOL!

I purchased a fat quarter book....Amazon.

Id set it on a shelf and look at it and maybe pet it once and a whole and then every once in a while I would think about untying it and cutting into it.

But that's only because I can't afford fat quarter bundles so if I ever bought one it would be my holy grail of fabric purchases

Would really need to see the fabrics.

Let them sit there a bit. Pet them. Shift them around. They will speak to you and let you know what to do.

I love the term 'petting your fabrics'. I do it all the time. No I'm not weird.....well.....maybe.

French Braid???? Gotta see them first.

Without seeing the colors it is really hard to say. There are a gazillion patterns for FQ out there so as Tartan suggested do a Google on FQ patterns.

Yellow Brick Road is an easy pattern that uses 12 fat quarters to get a lap-sized quilt. I have made two of them so far and have fabric for one more on my To Do list.
