Perhaps set the blocks on point, using a grey for sashing(?), or perhaps do 9-patch sashings with a grey and a darker (or lighter) color in the middle-

Try out a couple sashings underneath. Even if you do it at the quilt shop. I think sashing is a must with these. You lose the design when they are 'mushed' together. Did you piece them? I like them alot!

I agree.!!!!!

DITTO! Exactly what I'd do

These are great blocks. I would love to see them on point with a sashing.

As someone mentioned there are also various methods to set them. I love the book "Setting Solutions" and "Great Sets" by Sharyn Craig. http://www.sharyncraig.com/ Lots of great ideas especially for swap blocks if they are not the same size.

Look forward to see what you do.

I too like your blocks - Here is another vote for sashing - When I saw this this morning, I had EQ open. This is what I would do (I included a screen shot of EQ). I would set them onpoint with a grey or black sashing (maybe add soft yellow square to soften the harshness) add the yellow as the setting triangles and put a stripped border around the whole thing. I think they would be striking set that way!! You would need about 2 yards of each color to pull this off and you would not have to have the exact fabric in the blocks. pm me if you have any questions.
