Looking at patterns,finding fabrics,quilting.Really all of it except cutting-ug.

I don't think I can pick one! Every step is fun!

Making blocks and binding. I like to do the binding by hand. It gives me a connection to the quilt.

i love to come up with pattern/color combinations, but if i have to pick a favorite, it is hand quilting.

Buying patterns, and piecing blocks. It used to be hand applique, but hands went bad.

I love quilting!!!! It's my favorite. Picking fabrics is a close second.

The hand quilting and binding.

Sewing the blocks and hand quilting are tied in my opinion. My least favorite are cutting and ironing.

Finding time to quilt is my favorite part.

I love it all! But I really love picking fabrics and cutting the quilt!

Piecing. I stink at everything else. :D Come to think of it, I'm not that great at piecing either. I'm just a wanna be. I'm real good at buying things, just not using them. :shock:

Binding--without a doubt my very favorite part. Mainly because that means I'm almost finished and get to start another one.

That is a hard one! I enjoy all parts, but I think it is the admiration and thanks I get when giving one as a gift. But, I do like completing something, especially if it has been in the stack of UFO's for a long time.

deciding on colors, finding just the right fabrics and then piecing the top....the rest is just frustrating

I think picking out the colors is my favorite part...and next would be the piecing....I don't really mind any part of the process...just love starting new projects!

I love all the steps but my favorite is the quilting of it. I put on music and relax and quilt.

I like all of it with as many new gadgets as I can find. Machine quilting all the way. I hand sew the binding to the back of my quilts, only because it looks much neater.

Putting fabrics together and cutting. Binding is fun, too.

Okay, probably quilting, but I hand quilt. I am trying to learn FMQ but I'll always have something to hand quilt.

The planning. I love to plan out a quilt I have so many planned that it just takes up a lot of space in my mind :)

Planning the pattern and of course, the 'TA DA 'when it is finished.

I love sewing the binding on by hand. Means I'm almost finished.

I think it must be pulling everything out and starting over again...since I am so good at it!

You did miss one though - stand back, when it is done, and just say "Did I do that?" And thank God your fingers made it through another one. Edie

My favorite part is finding the pattern and picking the fabric colors and being with other quilters and finding out what they love!!
Not thrilled with the quilting part.. I am working on the quilting part just slow... LOL!!
