First and foremost, my Juki 98Q. I don't know how I lived without it.
I LOVE my 60 mm rotary cutter. I seldom use the others since I started using it. Oh, I still do sometimes because I have the 45mm by my sewing machine, but for general cutting, I always reach for the 60. And I do love the internet for all the info that is available. There are others that I use, but some of those are interchangeable...but the three above are some of the ones I always go to. Right at this moment typing on here and talking to granddaughter so may not be thinking straight and think of something else after while. |
I just added a thread cone adapter to my collections of gadgets and love it. I don't have to use a spool holder off the machine and it works like a charm. Its called a 'DEELYBOB II' and is the universal thread cone adapter. What a great gdget

I have a new favorite tool It's a magnetic wrist pin holder. I made it today, not pretty ( my machine didn't like sewing it) but so useful to pin quilts to my frame. I won't have to put pins in my mouth to have them handy.

In addition to everything mentioned above, one thing in my sewing room that I love is a lint roller. I run it over my cutting mat, over my sewing machine table, over me, just anywhere I see threads. Whenever I get up from sewing, I grab it and do a quick rollover, change the sticky paper if needed, and I'm ready to go again later.

Polypropylene sheets for art quilts (and Photoshop!), The steel bowls with a magnet on the bottom for pins (from discount stores and Autozone type places)... ....I'd get that $99 thimble if I weren't on a budget!! |
