Shortness is always a drawback, isn't it? I'm short too and it's all about reaching stuff on my tippy toes! I can't say what my least favorite part is because I haven't finished a quilt yet. I made 2 pot holders and 1 mug rug and the binding on the mug rug was perfect if I do say so myself!

You must be "Fun Sized"...I was picturing someone on tippy toes working on her project and then got down to the pot holder and mug rug part..very short. :-)

This was posted in the "Pictures" section of the Board.
There is a "how to baste" video that lets you do it on a table (or two tables put together end-to-end for a large quilt).

Click on CLASSES - FREE CLASSES - them look for the basting video

This is the link to the video - if it works.

I don't like sewing the sleeve to the back of the quilt - most of my quilts are made as wall hangings and for quilt shows, so I have to do it.

I really hate to cut out the fabric I want to get started and this takes time :)

Pressing all those yards and yards of fabric after prewashing. Ugh!

I'm with u sister, I really, really dislike doing the binding!! I'm redoing the binding on our bed quilt (that one of the cats has a fur ball on at least once a week), and I have to get it finished, cuz the blankets aren't gettin' it; last night I almost froze! It was cold
<:(

So, yes, "Alex, I'll take Binding for $50.!"

My least favorite part of quilting is layering the batting, backing and top. Someone should start a business. . .

Cutting, no question.

I groan when its time to do the last binding (done by hand) on the reverse side of the quilt! My hands hurt and ache and because of that I don't feel as if I'm putting in my best effort! The sandwiching is challenging, but it is exciting as well because you're on the downhill side of having your creation come to life!!

I love absolutely everything else about quilting! It is my passion and I am addicted! Phew I feel better now - thanks.
