IMHO (having only been two two shows in one year and seen the same couple quilts take the same type of awards) I am puzzled. Will they keep recycling them or traveling them around, trolling for ribbons? Will I see them next year?
If you win the Booker prize or a Pulitzer or a Nobel, you can't resubmit your publication or research to the same venue again. If it already won a Blue at Paducah, someone would actually bring it back to the SAME show the next year? I hope I misunderstood this. Jacqui good luck with the judgin'! |

Oh my word! I never knew so many things went into a quilt judging. I am glad I just do it for fun and use. Teresa

Me, too. I just quilt because I enjoy it and I enjoy giving my quilts to people who will use them.
