I am definately low on solids. I have added a lot of tone on tones, I applique and like to use them rather than solids. When I am planning a quilt that calls for a solid, I would prefer to buy it when I need it, so I am not too concerned that I don't have to many in my stash.

What's missing my stash?? ME !!!! We have been traveling in AZ, NV, OR, ID for the past week and a half. Will be home to STASH in abt 3 more weeks..... I can hear it calling my name........ Did go to a GREAT Quilt shop in S. Lake Tahoe 2 days ago and YES! I did buy fabric. I also "fondled" a LOT too!

FABRIC!

I always pick bright pretty flower and butterfly patterns. Went to the shop just for plains and small toned down prints to get a quilt together out of stash.

Which shop did you go to in So. Lake? I live in Reno and always looking for more shops. If you ever in Reno check out Windy Moon.

prices are comparable to most LQS. I have NO connection to this shop at all. Just passing on information. :-P Happy Quilting! |

In the last few months I have purchased some blender fabrics that have made it easier to find everything I need in my stash. I particularly like Robert Kaufman's Fusion fabrics. Here is a link...scroll down the page to see the many colors. http://www.robertkaufman.com/fabrics...fabrics&basics |
