batiks are the smallest part of my stash due to the fact that I could not afford to buy them on my budget of SS. I got some for the appliqued quilt that I am hand quilting now. Next I am going to do either Sweet Sixteen or Rose of Sharon using them. I didnt realize the Popping quality of the batiks in an appliqued floral quilt til now . Pics later when I finish it. Jo

I love most anything batik so if the fabric 'moves me' I buy some. I have a variety of colors. I usually watch for the sales. BatiksPlus has become a favorite source for me - beautiful fabric, good sale prices and wonderful service.

I'm an impulse buyer when it comes to batiks. But I have started buying more with only 2 or 3 colors in them. I'm also looking for more neutrals to use as my background with batiks; they seem to be harder to find; most have a strong color or print.

Prints mostly, haven't looked lately because I have batik fatigue. Made too many tops for a company a couple of years ago and am burned out.

I was going through my "give-away" stash for someone here, and found a pink batik. I think that was from a grab-bag/surprise bag.
