Sounds like a great "gift" to keep in the family. We have one with a "no-so-favorable-outcome" that has been passed to lots of family members... No one really likes it, but no one wants to get rid of it because it is part of our family.. Can't wait to see who gets it next Christmas.

I love the star. Yep, change the border and I think it will be stunning!

Oh gosh, that quilt is so NOT ugly! The star part is beautiful! I'm with everyone else, take the last border off and put a dark brown in it's place. Something not too busy but not a solid either. I think it will be stunning when that change is made.

Well, I think it's pretty. The border is the only problem so rip that baby off and put on a solid colored one.

The floral border does not add anything to the beautiful star! A dark 10 inch border would ground it, maybe one of the darks already in the star. Good job on the star, btw.

That is NOT an ugly quilt!!! My eye wants to see a border that's either black, or maybe the bright pink that you have in the star. I think if you change the border, you'll love it.

Great star, NOT ugly at all. Darken the border and it will be 'stop you in your tracks' gorgeous. Nice work.
