So inspiring to see so many scraps turned to beauty. Here are 3 of my scrap quilts. One I made for my husband's 50th BD, the string quilt for my couch and the tumbler block for the children's hospital project.

Wow! This has been more fun than a trip to a quilt museum! I love all these scrappy quilts.
Makes me think of our prairie fore-mothers and their lives long ago. I especially enjoyed the picture with the bare feet, that's me all over! Can NOT sew with shoes on! hahaha |

Here are the instructions. It's basically cut 2 1/2 inch strips of both light and dark. Then cut them into 2 1/2 inch squares and 4 1/2 inch bars. Sew a light to a dark, and dark to light, over and over. Then sew them into units, using both light and dark. It's super easy, fast and fun.[/quote] Thanks for sharing, can't wait to get started |
I love the pattern. Could you tell me where you got it and if I could have it? THanks

I have made some. I really like them, but I have a problem just putting things together the way they say you should. I tend to want to "coordinate" colors and designs.
