this means I have to go to Walmart again........that store is my love/hate relationship....but thank goodness it's there.

Thanks for the info. I just ordered one from Walmart. Have been thinking about how fix up my old ironing board with a wider top so this comes at a good time!
|
I also bought the Walmart board and it is great.
But like someone else asked, where can you get a new cover? |

Does anyone has one of these old ironing board and would have a pattern for a cover? |
Yeaaa, more space to hang my things off the clothes line that need a little pressing.

I ordered a new cover online for mine - can't remember where. I have also seen them at Walmart. And I dont think they were too expensive.

Glad you mentioned that. I have been doing that for years. I stopped in at Home depot one day and bought a single ceramic tile about 8x8 and put that on the end of the rounding part. Great stability for the iron. Also I have covered it with a piece of heavy cotton to use it when I fuse.

Thanks, will check it out the next time I go to Wally

I purchased this ironing board and love it. I added warm and natural batting for more padding and lower so I can iron and sew with ease!!

There is also a shelf type thing under the board, which I thought I wouldn't want, but now that I have it up, it looks pretty useful.
I am one very pleased quilter. My sister has one of these, and I have looked online at them, but there was one at Wal-Mart...for $39. It fits in the same place my old ironing board did. Now I can't wait to iron, when normally I dread it!! |
