I am planning on not buying too much fabric this year. I would like to only work on my ongoing projects.

I have a few tops, some already sandwhiched, to be quilted. I also have some piecing projects.

I want to focus on some projects this year and not purchase.

Here is my list.

1. Star Struck (currently quilting)
2. 4th of July (top)
3. OBW (sandwhiched ready to quilt)
4. Log Cabin (top)
5. Blue block quilt (sandwhiched ready to quilt)
6. Floral Quilt (blocks)
7. Bargello (partly pieced)
8. Pin Wheel (HST's done)
9. Fall blocks (from swap)
10. Butterfly blocks (leftover from other quilt)
11. Warm Wishes (piecing project)
12. OBW 2 (piecing project)
13. Diagonal Strip quilt (only have fabric bought)
14. String Quilt (piecing project)
15. Breast Cancer blocks (from swap)

Numbers 1, 14, 13, 3 are my plans for this year. My sister also requested a baby quilt that I think I will use number 6 for.

I don't know about the not buying fabric part but I have at least 7 WIP and several UFOs that I plan on working on next.

You want the list?

WIP
1 baby quilt
2 Orion star
3 square in a square #1
4 square in a square #2
5 butterfly garden BOM original
6 butterfly garden BOM #2
7 all borders

There are also several quilts that are ready to layer and quilt. That list is longer. I'll be happy just to work on the WIP.

Can I join in also -
1. Baby's quilt (cut out)
2. Hexagon quilt (handpiecing)
3. Quilt for our bed (hand piecing - top half finished)
4. Quilt for grea niece (top finished)

I'm sure I could find some more if I looked hard enough!!

Please count me in. Off the top of my head I have:
1. Hearts and home to quilt by hand
2. Christmas QAYG
3. Table topper for Judy
4. Hot Diggedy Dawg Buggy Barn
5. Quillow for Amy - waiting to find cross stitch ballerina to go on pillow!
6. Quillow for dad to be quilted
7. Christmas tree skirt applique and quilt
8. Hong Kong memory quilt

Those are the ones off the top of my head. I haven't been to search yet.
Anyone seen my ballerina cross stitch?

I'm in!! I am not sure how many I have in progress, so my first challeng will be to make a list, and then get busy by January 1.

i am very much up to this challenge!
when i finished quilting the last required holiday quilt i started cleaning the quilting room...machine is going in for service and in the mean time we are going to paint the room and do some rearranging...but i digress...
while moving things out of the room i found 2 or 3 projects i had forgotten about...i have a christmas quilt i started working on the summer of 2009 with hopes of it being a gift for christmas...did not get it together...pulled it out a couple months ago...would really like it done this year...well...other than being hung where i see it everytime i walk by, it is no closer than it was in 2009...i would really like to get it done...i have another christmas quilt i started in 2004......i have so many!!!
do we have to (claim- admit to) all of them?
part of my problem is i get overwhelmed thinking about how many of them there are...i know one at a time...so, i will spend the rest of the week (trying) to get them *organized* and a count...
no shopping-no starting ANYTHING NEW until the old is done and gone!!!

I'm in. Due to surgery and chemo last year (I'm doing great!...thanks for asking  ), I am behind on customer's orders and my own "stuff." This morning I actually started making a list of customer's stuff that they didn't need for Christmas and began to prioritize it.

WooHoo...Yesterday I started working on my shop. I am so tired of not being able to find stuff...or it's just stacked around. I am organizing fabric in the fashion of AlaskaSue, and as I go through I am sorting in to size increments and colors. I am finding a whole bunch of smaller pieces of fabric I forgot I had because they were mixed in with bigger pieces.

Also, one of the first things is get my machine serviced. It still runs fine, but the "scissors" no longer work and that is annoying.

While, organizing some fabric I came across a shelf of some really nice books I forgot I had. I decided to go through the books and pick out 4 "learning process" quilts and actually read the pattern and make the quilt accordingly. I decided, "why buy these books if I'm not going to really use them?"

Well, that seems to be a start!

Why don't we meet back here at the end of January for an update!!
