I hope you heal fast, but in the mean time, keep that left hand busy here.

This made me giggle, because for some reason I began to sing, probably the rhythm of the (Bummer, Bummer, Bummer,) Dem Bones Gonna Rise Again. And that is exactly what we all want for you. The bones are gonna heal an rise to quilting projects!

Woe is me, is right. I am so sorry. I know how I would feel if
I done something so I couldn't quilt or anything else for that
matter. I can't stand just sitting. I guess you can play a lot on
the computer.

So Sorry to hear of your misfortune. I crushed my elbow years ago but they wired it together. Prayers for speedy recovery! :-D

I know this must be a very difficulty time for your. I know it would be for me if I were in your place. Not only can you enjoy the quilting board during this time but you can make it a time to plan future quilts, designs, fabrics, etc. I am sure I would spend time looking at my fabrics and visualizing them as future quilts. I am praying for a speedy and complete recovery for you.

I am so sorry for your accident. I hope the time goes by quickly for you and you can get back to your quilting.

Sorry to hear of your accident. This should give you time to peruse all the quilting books on the shelves at the library or at Barnes and Noble. Just find a comfy chair and enjoy.

Also, have you read any of Jennifer Chiaverini's books? They are all about a group of women who began a quilting retreat and you would love them. Easy to read too. I suggest starting with "The Quilter's Apprentice" , which is the first book and will introduce you to all the main characters. The books aren't necessarily in a specific sequence so you can read them in any order if you want, if the first one isn't available. Take care and happy reading!
