two weeks ago i tripped on a rug, fell onto the kitchen floor....i crushed my elbow and last week and had to have a total elbow replacement. my first thought as i fell was, "oh no, i'm supposed to go to the beach this week". my second thought was "oh no...i won't be able to quilt!!!" i have 8 weeks to read, learn, and enjoy vicariously (thru this board) your words and pictures....you will be my quilting lifeline!!! i'm truly am experiencing real withdrawal as i lovingly caress my stash and try to funstion with my left hand! ....woe is me...except for my quilting friends . :)

Yikes!

You have a very positive attitude for being just a week out of surgery.

For sure, you'll get lots of inspiration from the board!

Sorry to hear about your accident and hope you make recovery as easy as possible. Just think of the links, tutorials and all the pictures you can download as you progress. You will keep busy here. Glad that you can come and let a few of the hours in the day pass. Reading and napping is good.........lol. Best Wishes for a speedy recovery.

All the best with your recovery. I had both knees replaced. Didn't know they could replace elbows. Bet you are glad they can. Enjoy the board and be well soon.

Wow! I've never even heard of elbow replacements! Knees and hips seem to work well, so I'm sure you'll be back at it soon.
